07/05/2022 - The Beginning
For years, it has been a goal of mine to present my writing. After years of going at it, I have a lot to present. It's good to start somewhere, even if it's here. My mission is to make a good story. If you, the reader, enjoy it, I have succeeded. If you don't like what I have to say, I have failed; but I'm not adjusting myself to make everyone happy. If these stories make you unhappy, that's not necessarily my problem.
These stories are fantastical. There is magic, monsters, and mythos. But even with all these cool things, they are not so different from our reality. These are fantastical stories, but are based in reality.
This is a quote from Oscar Wilde. "There is no such thing as a moral or an immoral book. Books are well written, or badly written. That is all."
This is a quote from Nikolai Gogol. "But when Akaky Akakievich ever looked at anything he only saw all about him the even lines scripted in his neat hand, and only if a horse should appear from nowhere and thrust its nose over his shoulder, emitting a blast of horsy breath through its nostrils on to his cheeks, might he realize he was in the middle of the street and not in the middle of the sentence."
