Summary:
Akira was an outsider to many and only considered family by one. In the absence of the knowledge about her genetic parents, the pack that had given her shelter since she was a babe, had never accepted her. With diminished rights, and continuous mistreatment involving harsh verbal harassment, Akira was a battered and weak, young woman. Overcome by anger for being rejected by her rightful mate, she manages to shift for the first time.
It was indeed a turn of events when she finds out she is the Moon Wolf. A wolf destined for a supposedly even greater destiny. Parting from her pack in a secretive manner, she seeks the rank of a rogue to learn about herself, her wolf, and to come to terms with loving herself, when no one else couldn’t.
Yet, her position as a rogue is soon replaced by that of an Alpha. From helping one beaten wolf at the border of another pack’s territory, onto another, the rescued joined forces and they chose Akira as their dutiful leader. All members harboured great trauma from their respective packs, and all had known what it meant to be treated as an outsider. Yet finally, they have found comfort and safety in one another. For several years, the pack went around borders with the aim of helping, and it grew so much, that automatically it became one of the best packs of the continent.
Many seek their help, and many happen to be their enemies. But they have all learnt to not stoop at anyone’s level, and their kindness should be enough of a revenge. Yet when Akira is dutifully compelled to help her old pack, she reunites with her mate and everything changes, for the better and for the worse.
