Anyways those were my tips on starting your own book and stuff, sorry that it wasn't much i kinda just entered highschool so even my knowledge on writing is a tad limited, but hope this helps! And i hope you succeed on your first book! As for the payment thing it isnt necessary, but highly appreciated(:

hi hi hi. so wattpad is pretty simple. i started out w a connor franta book which wasnt going so great and i deleted that and made the one that is currently up. basically what im trying to say is if you have an idea in your head just write it and plan it out. i have so many ideas i want to do in my head but most of them dont end up published bc i end up loosing interest in the plot. i CANNOT STRESS how much easier it is using word document when you write and just copying and pasting it to your wattpad works, but if you do not have word document i suggest google drive. i HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you do that bc it has made typing so much more efficient.  you dont have to worry about spelling mistakes or grammar mistakes, but if word says something is incorrect and you think it shouldnt be i suggest read it out loud and a couple times to yourself to see if it sound right or not. assuming you go to school it really isnt hard to write. i also STRESS that you DO NOT USE ANY SLANG in your writing unless in quotes such as "BTDUBBS" or "WTF" or "WTH" it makes the story hard to read and makes you, the writer, sound very uneducated. no matter where you are from you are still educated you still go to school so even if you are from "the hood" you should know that the correct term is "you all" not "ya'll". i also never proofread my docs., but if you do not use word or like google drive you MUST MUST MUST proofread because you should catch your mistakes before you publish them (no matter how boring it may be you must proofread your work if you dont use word document or google drive). its always good to be descriptive w your writing, but dont add to much detail to the point where you cant get the reader to actually read it bc its too wordy. LASTLY I HIGHLY SUGGEST you make and updating schedule bc it helps reader know when youre going to update instead of having them wait.
