Song I literally just wrote. Still a work in progress with getting it to sound better but I somewhat like how it turned out.....

          A dizzying feeling in my heart
          The world around me is spinning endlessly
          I can't hear your voice 
          I can just see your reflection
          I can't break free from the crystal glass around me

          It's killing me to lie here endlessly
          I don't know how to reach out for you
          Everything is spinning around me
          I can't keep my head straight
          Caught in the light of your eyes
          Like a deer caught in the headlights
          It all focuses on me
          I can't float away to the atmosphere

          Your attention keeping me here

          It's a lot to take in believe me I know
          Heart shaped clouds in the sky
          With a perfect sigh

Heartbreak, Loss, and Memories (per request from Jester)
          Waves rolling and lapping at my feet
          The salty air soothing the nerves
          The cry of seagulls overhead
          The smell of sunshine and warmth of light on my face
          The setting sun casting a shadow across the waves
          A shout for me
          But I chose not to leave as I search for a friend
          A blast of air catches my attention
          Warm brown eyes like a cup of choco on a cold winter's night
          Skin smooth and white like a pebble smoothened by time
          A blast again, pain this time
          Once bleached white water now red with blood
          One final call of my name draws me back from the past
          A rose dropped beside me, petals drained of color
          For my dear friend, lost forever
          
          This one was inspired by the White Dolphin by Gill Lewis.

          Birds:
          How beautiful they are
          Soaring across the horizon
          The feathers of their wings fluttering
          Like a hummingbird fluttering from flower to flower
          They cry out to each other
          Like a child cries out to its mother
          They protect their young
          Like a bee protects her hive
          How beautiful they are
          Free of the bindings to this world
          Not bound to the earth
          Like a balloon tethered to one's wrist
          How I wish I were like them
          To be free of this world
          To soar across the skies
          But as I write and look out my window in despair
          I am reminded of my binding to this world
          To never be free to feel the wind through my feathers
          To never feel the thrill of the flight
          Alas what pity it is to not be like them.
