          Good morning all participants of The Diamonds in the Rough Awards 2018! 
          
          In all honesty, judging for ROUND TWO has been off to a awfully slow start. That is the reason for which the timeline was extended. We have had trouble balancing school, extra curriculars, and this account. We offer our greatest apologies and acknowledge our mistake. We take full responsibility for underestimating the amount of time, work, and planning running these awards will take. 
          
          We intend to finish these awards but, we may have to alter the way we judge entries and the way we send that information to you so that the process may be more efficient.

          We have asked that all poetry entries send @JewelAwards a private message confirming the theme and style they wish the entry be judged upon. The must be done by June 29, 2018 otherwise, the entry will not be judged until Round Two.
