I am a student, currently taking a gap year, I will be returning to the safe niche of education next September, reading Chemistry at the University of Manchester. I love to write, poetry seems to be my main focus though I want to branch into story writing, short stories at first then see where things take me. My favourite author I think has to be Fyodor Dostoevsky and Bret Easton Ellis. I love the way they capture the darkness in the human soul, its beautiful although Ellis is much more explicit than Dostoevsky in they way they do this for obvious and not so obvious reasons. 
     I don't really have a favourite poet. One of my favourite poems is If by Rudyard Kipling because I thinks its a great recipe to live one's life by.
