Quick thought bubble to the writers/ consumers out there lol ⬇️
          
          It's a tale as old as time now but how are ya'll when it comes to separating the writer from the art. With the new series for Harry Potter coming out, I saw some folks talking about Rowling a controversies. It's hard to deny her impact on a lot of things in modern fantasy stories lol. At least the ones I've seen like little witch academia.
          
          Tbh for me most of the time I never even think of the author unless I'm curious to read there authors notes. If they even leave any. Those always help for my own improvement or inspiration.
          
          Lemme know your thoughts.

@JirehCrowell Hi! I think the problem for me is that whether I do harm by buying the product. Unfortunately, Rowling donates money she gets through the Harry Potter franchise to anti-trans charities.
            
            Obviously though I admire her creativity and can like the characters, but at the same time I sadly cannot think of the art without considering the artist so I do my best not to buy into Harry Potter, e.g. merch, video games if that makes sense!  :-)
