@Acd255 I guess so, partially. Most of the story covers the (missing) years between the breakup and when they meet again at the carnival, I.e. the time jump. Then it continues the story from there.

I just wanted to tell you that I think your writing is really wonderful. You are able to elicit a great deal of emotion from your characters and your audience. I am reading through all your stories again (reading The Missing Years and What Would it take simultaneously, I already finished Becoming Flynn and Flynn) and I think you have a lot of talent.
