I am an aspiring writer, same as you. 

I am a college student pursuing a B.S. in English writing with plans to work in either publishing or something editorial. I am currently working on a passion project of mine, a novel called Stalemate that I hope to finish soon. I have also written a number of short stories for creative writing classes I took in high school and college, and I thought I would post them here. 

It would be a dream come true to be a writer one day, but for now I'll stick to Wattpad. I am mostly inspired by European history and many of my stories take place in different eras and periods. I have a special place in my heart for works by Jane Austen, the Brontë Sisters, Margaret Atwood, Toni Morrison, and Maya Angelo. If you know any other authors that write similar stories and poems to these wonderful women, I'd love to check them out :)
