About me? Well let me see! I'm Irish born and raised, I'm the single parent of two amazing daughters. My eldest, Jessy, got married recently and my youngest, Megan, is a contributing writer for her high school newspaper. 
We've lived here in Texas for 20+ years and although I could have raised my children anywhere in the world, I choose Texas as my adopted home, something I'm cool with. 

I have lots of interests and I still have so much more that I want to do. Every morning, life is exciting. 
It's weird but then I was younger I believed that I would have all kinds of opportunities but what I didn't realize was that life steps in and just takes over.  Before you know it kids, family, working and paying bills consumes your every day. 

But! But! But! This wattpad is a great opportunity for me. I get to write a story (not my story) but a story that's been in my head for a long time and I get to receive real feedback. 

It needs work. 

A bunch of work. 

But story telling has always been a passion of mine. 

Just so you know, when I finally worked up the courage to show what I had written to my mom, she responded with "Jody, we told you a long time ago that you should write." 

I don't remember ever hearing that but my mom is very supportive. What can I say, Life Happens. 

I hope you like what I write but more importantly I hope you will give me constructive feedback.
