John August Schumacher holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in history and religion from Concordia College (Moorhead, Minnesota) and a Master’s Degree in history and theology from Wartburg Theological Seminary (Dubuque, Iowa).  Now employed in the field of Information Technology,  Schumacher lives with his wife and two children near Omaha, Nebraska.
