Hi, I'm John Heldon. I write for my generation of baby boomers, as well as anyone who loves to laugh or think.  My blog is a fountain for uplifting, useful, and humorous stories sure to inspire. On the other hand, my novels blend spirituality and the paranormal to produce smiles and moments of peace. 

My novel, "Ark Book IV: Ghosts", is such a story about second chances and redemption:

"Hoosiers Meets Field of Dreams"  

Nicknamed the Ark, this old gym is the limbo for six ghosts from 1971, who are discovered by a retired alum whom they hope will be the conduit between themselves and their unhappy living persons, thereby providing the answers to their 'young' and 'old' predicaments:

Ark Book V:  Beneath is a "Field of Dreams Meets Stargate".

The Ark, nickname of the old Sunnyside College gym in Delaware, has an impervious portal  appear suddenly in its basement floor, the first event in a series foretelling a near and certain Doomsday, unless a way to enter it  can be found. 

The final chapter of this middle trilogy is Ark Book VI:  Above "Stargate Meets Salvation":

The old  Sunnyside College gym, nicknamed the Ark, has a portal that gives a chosen few a glimpse of Doomsday, which is near and unavoidable, unless these few can convince mankind  drastic changes to ways of life are needed. 

The first trilogy will be next, starting with Ark Book I:  Mars

I was born and raised in Bergen County, NJ and attended Rutgers University. After a career in sales before founding my own business, I 'retired' to work and love twice as much as a writer.  I live in Marlboro, NJ with my wife, better half, and inspirational character, Ginni, along with our hyperactive Maltese, Lily, who keeps us young.  Besides writing, I enjoy gardening, and the fine arts.
