Yes, my name is Alana, and it's only five letters long. You wouldn't believe how many ways people find to spell it.

I live in Australia, in a long, flat brick house that looks like a squat caravan. There's a huge willow tree that's perfect for climbing, but being afraid of heights kind of ruins it for me. There is a swing, though, and an old shed that has a room like a study except with a dustier floor.
Winter's the best season, though, because then I have a legitimate excuse to sit under a blanket with my computer and a cup of tea, sometimes wearing glasses that really don't suit my face and that I don't need to wear.
Needless to say, I love to write.
