Hey, if there's still anyone following me, I've just posted new material on my baseball book, The Unnatural. I am now dedicated to finishing this story and expect to post updates at least twice a week until I finish the novel.
I have 20,000 more words of rough draft that I will put up as I edit them.

Hi John! Congratulations on getting into the second round of the ABNA! I know a lot of Wattpaders entered this year and I was wondering who'd made it through. I got all the way to the Semis last year (I was a Quarter Finalist) and it was an exciting journey. It's awesome to see your name on that list every few weeks and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
Thanks for the kind wishes. And yeah, I was surprised how happy I was when I saw my name on the 2nd round list.
And, I've heard from a number of people who got agents or got their book published after advancing deep into the contest---so I hope I can survive a few rounds.

Been reading "The Card". It's both an interesting tale, and I'm learning things about the mechanics of the major league clubhouse.
I never thought about the road team batboys or getting the clubhouse ready for each new visiting team.

Hey, for those of you reading "The Unnatural", I've just revised Chapter 15. I wasn't happy with that first version I posted on Feb 2.
There is an epilogue, but I had entered Warrior in the Wattys. I deleted the epilogue because I wanted to post a corrected version, and they wouldn't let me load it. I could probably put it up now, b/c the wattys contest is over.
The book, however, is intended as a series. I haven't started writing the sequel. I'll do that after I'm finished with my current work-in-progress (The Unnatural).
