I was born in 1980 in Detroit, Michigan. Feeling unchallenged in grade school with the reading material, I began reading Stephen King and Dean Koontz at nine years old. A short time after high school I enlisted in the United States Army where I served until I was thirty, and received many prestigious awards and accolades during my service in combat and in training. During my military service I traveled around the world experiencing new cultures while reading anything I could get my hands on to fill the time on those long trips. It wasn't until after the military service that I truly fell in love with reading and writing. I am nearing the graduation for a bachelor's degree in English and Creative Writing at Southern New Hampshire University and, when I'm not writing, I am volunteering at the Veteran Center. I also enjoy the outdoor sports of fishing, swimming, and hiking, and the indoor sports poker, weightlifting, and darts.
