Hi! I'm back after some much needed spiritual growth. Been workshopping a new (old) book. Not sure what I'm pitching this as yet, but it's got 'The Bell Jar' vibes. Check it out! :)

One must avoid ambition in order to write. Otherwise something else is the goal: some kind of power beyond the power of language. And the power of language, it seems to me, is the only kind of power a writer is entitled to. - Cynthia Ozick

A couple of films I've enjoyed recently.

          1. Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001) - Honestly the drag equivalent of A Star Is Born. Tommy Gnosis is my boyfriend.

          2. A Star Is Born (2018) - Honestly the drag equivalent of A Star Is Born, I mean have you seen Lady Gaga sing La Vie En Rose? It's one of the most magical scenes I've ever seen. https://youtu.be/u93gJXcSyEs

          3. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (2006) - I wish I could write half as good as this. That ending just left me bawling and feeling lonelier than ever.

          4. Female Trouble (1974) - Twisted af, and Mink Stole stole the show. The Dreamlanders might be a proto-American Horror Story cast, heck, John Waters might be proto-Ryan Murphy.

          5. Lords of Chaos (2018) - Who cares if it isn't accurate or whether Mayhem hates it? It's got Sky Ferreira playing a groupie and that's most metal thing ever.

          Any recommendations?
