I've just finished writing a song and I made a video that is being uploaded to my YouTube channel and it took me 3 days to write it from start to finish it's a song about my experience in school and why I decided to homeschool myself to continue my education (I left high school when I was starting senior year) Ever since I was in middle school I wanted to learn more but that never happened it was hard for me and I wanted to be homeschooled because I felt like I wasn't being given the education I needed it wasn't until senior year of high school a security guard tried to drag me to class by my backpack and making up a lie about "saving" me from falling down the stairs that I decided to leave school and since I didn't want to go through the same thing again I decided at 18 I would homeschool myself which I've been doing for nearly five years now which is better Thought I do have some habits like writing spelling words 5x each (which is the only homework assignment I've ever done throughout school ever since I was transferred to another elementary school) It's a cycle and a pattern that's so predictable when I asked for something different I was told no I didn't mind when I was in elementary school but to have it even in middle school and high school it got really old to have the same homework assignment year after year I'm so glad I decided to homeschool myself best decision I ever made I get to learn whatever I want when I want Now I'm going to be writing more songs and work on some fanfiction and my own stories ✏️

@Jokey19 you did the same thing as me, though I started homeschooling myself halfway through my freshman year of high school so I've been doing it for almost 4 years now, I learn way more than I did when I was in school, I've even noticed my writing and story telling is way better than it was when I did it in school, as well as my art and my studies, I can process thing way quicker than I used to, hell I even helped my adopted online little brother with math because he loves math, it was an equation I never understood when I was in school so now that I look back at what I knew in school and what I do now it's way better, I know more and learning has become fun since it's not forced on me, I do think about if I should try out college even though I never went to public school anymore instead I continued homeschool, I always love learning new stuff and getting the chance to teach others that were struggling in school about it.
