I am not sure that saying anything about myself is really important. After all it is the stories that are important and, I suspect, you as readers will either like them or you will not.

I am very grateful to those of you who have read my stories and especially to anyone taking the time to make comments. The stories are all work in progress and readers suggestions have enabled me to go back to edit and then re-edit, something which I hope to continue to do.

I admire all the writers who manage to find the time to sit down and put their thoughts onto digital paper. Squeezing space in our busy lives to try and be creative in any way is not easy. This is something I struggle with as the children grow and life seems so hectic.

All the stories I have here on Wattpad have an element of truth in them. Some of them more than others. Tripe Tales, or The Blighty Bodgers, is based on the renovations in connection with the house in my background picture. Disability Dating is written with Simon Wilson, (check him out at simonsable.com), who has cerebral palsy, and if you read the others you might be able to guess where the truths lie.

If you are reading this, thank you! As a live performer you get an instant reaction to your work but writing is a much more remote process.

As for myself, I am rushing through middle age and need to recommence writing before old age overtakes me. If you want to read about real life in France or personal stories of Bomber Command in Lincolnshire Google 'Orford Bridge'.

Once again thank you for visiting these pages and I hope you enjoy them.
