For a few weeks now I can only read comments in work and generated comments when someone publishes something. For some reason, or for no reason I should say, other announcements etc open in the corner of my computer screen and are unreadable. Argh.
I will not disappear entirely during 2026, but dang, maybe I should.

@JonLeePeto Unfortunately the contests on that website has an entry fee. I’m just there for the free educational writing and editing videos. I also utilise the different chat groups to ask writing related questions.

I will not disappear entirely during 2026, I plan to pop in once a week or so, but I probably can't take on any new read for reads. I must prioritize other things unfortunately, like blah: work!
@JonLeePeto yeah I agree real life obilgations can be a pain but unfortunately they are things that sustain us. I personally am trying to move forward in my career too so I am spending way less time here, only popping up every now and then. Hopefully I am able to move forward this year then I can come back to finish my own stories. Until then, best of luck for 2026!
@CeciandJack I'm shopping a book too, but I've never had much luck with that, but who knows maybe 2026 is my year. Other goals... um, take more walks, smell more roses, master something that takes less time to master than writing, maybe the ins and outs of sake, say, or pickling vegetables lol.
I read a writing book about poetry during some of my free time during this winter vacation. I don't write poetry, but I do read it sometimes and I believe reading poetry is good for my fiction writing.
And reading about writing poetry was inspiring and beneficial too! Here is the review:
