I wrote down this quote from one of my writing books and forget which one:
“Overplay your tensions, or underplay them, or ignore them, and almost certainly your story will fail to satisfy."
It's worth thinking about, I think, but it is very hard to evaluate my own writing based on it. I can't tell at all if I overplay, underplay or ignore tension sometimes...

It's a first draft and needs a lot of work, but I just completed the novel that will get me an agent and published. Finally, I will get everything I deserve! (Of course I think this every time I finish something lol!)

I decided to mess around with AI and Canva and create a few new covers for a change. I haven't spent much time creating images, but I have to admit I had some fun.
