          Someone cried.
          Then someone else cried.
          Then suddenly half the deck was hugging their parents, people were apologizing for crying while crying harder, and emotional damage spread across the Crimson Tide like a contagious disease.

Writing a new book in the same series and one of the characters keeps making me stop and think, “Oh no… my Shayla.”
          
          You know that moment when you realize a character is about to suffer and there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it… even though you’re the one writing the story? Yeah. That kind of moment.
          
          Send emotional support. I fear for my own characters. 

Finished writing this story… and wow, what a ride.
          I made myself cry more times than I can count, but I smiled even more while bringing it all to life.
          
          And honestly? I’m not ready to let go just yet…
          The sequel is already in the works. Hehe

Kinda creating a world I love.
          Kinda breaking my own heart while writing it.
          The plot’s brutal… but it hits hard. And honestly? I’m loving every second of it.
