Hey everyone! I know you'll probably be wondering where I've been. I had to finish some other project these last few weeks and I couldn't really focus on The Death of A Nation. But don't worry, I'm starting work on a chapter for Sunday week, do I'll see ya then!!

Whooooo! A lot of things have happened since I last wrote to you! I've made so many new friends, had my work edited, created a new cover for the book by myself (Whaddya think?! Lemme know!) and gained 4 followers! That's crazy. I have an update on the first chapter, some of you may have read the opening paragraph of the chapter, cause I'm a dumbo and I didn't know how to make it private, but I've just finished the first draft and after some small tweaks here and there I'll be able to release it this Saturday! It's so exciting to be able to make some good progress on the story and after I finish writing this I'm gonna get back to figuring out the bullet points for the next three chapters. If you're not sure if you find the story interesting, I advise you to just stick around cause the next few chapters are gonna get pretty juicy. After I'm finished introducing all the characters and their relationships with one another I can get into some character development and plot development! Yay! Hey guys,
I've just published my first ever chapter to WattPad, for which I am tremendously proud. Now to set to work for the first actual chapter (OH GOD!). Well I actually wrote out the first three chapters a few weeks ago, however I unfortunately lost the files! This was a blessing in disguise however, as now I can fix all the problems I had with the original draft with every writers most revered and underrated tool, the clean slate. I can't wait for you guys to see how the story pans out, its been in my head for so long and now to see it come to fruition fills me with the same intangible excitement I would get Christmas morning. Hopefully I should finish the first chapter for next Sunday and if not I'll have a blog post like this instead. Thanks for reading and I (or Ben Walker!) will see you next Sunday. Enjoy your week!

I'm currently working on a pretty bulky prologue for my first novel, The Death of a Nation. It should be ready to go up around Sunday. I plan to post one chapter a week every Sunday after that.
