Congratulations to all the ONC longlisters! And to the rest of us, there’s always next year. It will be interesting to see what falls off the inspiration tree and bonks me on the head in 2024.

Thank goodness, I have until April 30th to reach 20k words! At first it was April 25th, what a relief!
Waiting to see if I progress to ONC round 3. If I do then I’ll be writing like gangbusters to finish my last 11k words or so!
I actually surpassed 5k words! For some people, they can write that in a couple of hours. For me, it takes a long time and feels like trying to squeeze water from a rock.

Yes, indeed, squeezing the water from the rock is also an apt description...but that can make the water that much sweeter...
Sad for the 42/15% of Wattpad employees that were recently laid off. Hopefully they land on their feet.
