Joni Cham is the author of the novel, "In My Mother's House," which was a finalist for the 2013 Philippine National Book Award and a Special Jury Prize winner of Premio Tomas: The UST Quadricentennial Literary Prize. Her literary works have been featured in several magazines and publications such as Philippines Graphic, The Sunday Times, Tulay Fortnightly, etc. She mostly writes fiction and essays but has started dabbling into poetry--a genre that has always intimidated her. She likes to think that she's pre-writing her second novel.
