Hello, my diamonds in the rough.
It took a lot of consideration, but I’ve decided to give the few of you (that are active) the truth. During my 72-hour hold, I’ve been thinking about you guys a lot. I know I’ve neglected you, so I’m sorry; but I’ve also been neglecting myself.
I made a suicide attempt and failed; fortunately. Not saying this to make anyone feel bad, I’m not begging for clicks or attention, I just want to be honest about where I am with my mental health.
I need to start confronting myself and my responsibilities. I need to take care of myself while readers taking care of my readers… etc etc.
Since I’ve left though— and honestly it hasn’t been long since I’ve been discharged— I’ve never felt better.
You will see the end of my stories. You have my word.
@JoonMacaroon dear author, don’t think that your statement is a call for attention because mental health is a serious concern. I am relived that you’re feeling better and I hope you continue to take care of yourself. Don’t feel pressured to write when you’re not feeling like it, because what matters most is your wellbeing. I started reading Philophobia during its early chapters, and you’ve managed to keep me on the edge of my seat during the time the first story ran with your meticulously writing. As a matter of fact, I am rarely active on wattpad as of now but I only come back when you update. Your writing actually means a lot to me as I indulged in it during one of the darkest times in my life. And I think as your writing has evolved, so have I as a person, yet my admiration for your work only continues to grow more. I look forward to your recovery (and more future updates) because that is the best way you will create amazing chapters. Your craft is amazing, one of a kind, and I’m lucky person to have the privilege to call themselves one of your readers! :)
I really do hope you don’t ever feel any sort of pressure to write or update! The things you write are amazing, not because of how fast or often you write them, but because of how they are written. And we would never ever want you to prioritise anything over yourself and your own wellbeing! Update when you feel like it and never feel any obligation to do so! You taking care of yourself first is never any sort of neglect. I hope this only goes uphill for you from now on <3

I have so many! But I think I would choose any of the main 3 deviants in the game Detroit become Human. Probably Connor. Because in light of the “rise of AI”, I think it would he interesting to see it all from the perspective of sentient robotics.
