So I know Penny has had trouble with kids before, but imagine if she gets accidentally kidnapped by a younger child, around 2-3 years old, they’re still so much bigger than her that she’s helpless, but the kid also doesn’t understand that she’s a real human. And imagine if she stays captured or trapped for more than a few chapters as the kid takes her home, leaving Amy not knowing where to even begin to look for her
Do you think you could do something like that? Or perhaps as a separate story as a midquel maybe?
@Jordan_06872 You could do something where Amy takes her out in public, Penny is left out of her sight by accident, and along comes a gigantic 2 year old child who scoops her up and puts her in her pocket, and takes her home. Then you’d have a few chapters straight of Penny being trapped as a toy doll to a 2 year old girl, with Amy having no luck finding her in an entire town
Can I make a suggestion for a chapter for Amy & Penny?
@Jordan_06872 Ok so I was thinking, Penny has been a few inches tall for quite a while. We’ve already seen many danger for her at her size. Why not change up the formula a bit, maybe have her shrink even smaller, to show she’s still being effected, and to make the stakes higher. As for how she shrinks smaller… in this chapter maybe she gets up one night to get some water that Amy has placed down for her so she can easily get water at night at her tiny level. Just as she’s finished, she feels a tingling sensation and before she knows it, she’s shrunken far beyond what she was before, and is now bug-size. Maybe she has a run in with a mouse that when she was a few inches tall would’ve been slightly smaller than her, but now that she’s bug-sized, it dwarfs her many dozens of times over and seems keen on eating her. There would be many possibilities for new dangers at a smaller size. And it would give Amy more urgency to figure out a way to reverse Penny’s condition, which could set up the second half or so of the story.
