Good pastnoon, friends. I'm called Joryce. 
An aspiring writer, such as yourselves, I enjoy the literary art of producing new lives and events from the depths of my thoughts. Seeing new people in my mind's eye, living new adventures while I sleep. Every second on the clock is another second of devout use of imagination, whether awake or dreaming. 
God's greatest gift to mankind was their mind, and three hearty cheers to you who use that gift to invent stories. Stories, books, shorts, chapters, prologues, epilogues... They all provide a doorway into another life, or mind, or heart, or body. A temporary escape into another realm of magnificence, love, conflict, darkness, and beauty, among a plethora of others. To those of you who do it, and do it well, I say well done. 
I plan on writing a series involving a pig farmer's son who becomes involved in the events surrounding a deity-sized battle of good verses evil. I love writing shorts too: Brief glimpses into a larger story, like looking through a window as you walk by.
