A South Dakota "lifer", I've spent several years visiting ghost towns, graveyards and trails in western South Dakota. To date I've visited over 140 sites, photographed grave markers and enjoyed the history. I'm a modern archeologist. I will visit, study and record but leave things where found. I don't cross barbed wire or open gates and remain respectful of customs. And friendly to most animals and humans.
