I feel bad, but life got in the way again, and I tripped.

I was deeply humbled by my laptop needing to be taken in for repairs :( About 10k words of Chapter 11 remained on my laptop, and I've been unable to access the writing I've been working on for about three weeks now. I just barely got my laptop back yesterday.

So cheers! I feel super behind on this project, but I hope to keep calm and keep writing.

          	xoxo

I'm currently working on Chapter 11 and more to come!

Note to the reader: The non-indented paragraphs are intentional. As I mentioned before, I primarily use Grammarly as my editing tool for my work, and copying and pasting from there to here doesn't retain paragraph indentation.

While it is a bummer, I'm frankly too lazy to fix it. Editing already takes all my brain power as is lol

Hello readers!

How are you doing? I hope you are doing well and in good spirits on this New Year's Day!

It has officially been four months since I launched my first writing project online!

While I have been writing on and off during this time, I have been working on this project for nearly two years. Due to life circumstances, it has been a slow process to put the storyline and novel on paper finally.

To be vulnerable, it has been a considerable jump for me to put my work online. Not many people in my personal life can help contribute, read, and critique my work. I hoped to launch my debut novel, A House of Haunting, as a "living project" I could continue to work on. Although I am not even a quarter of the way through, I plan to continue revising and editing.

While I only use Grammarly as my writing tool, I look forward to any feedback you can offer!

Please comment on this post on my page with any comments, questions, concerns, or critiques of the first 1-9 chapters.

I hope to continue connecting with my work and my readers in the New Year!

May you be blessed and enter 2026 with a motivated mindset, and may you have a good year!

Hey anyone out there reading this!

My apologies for the late upload of Chapter Seven; life had to be a priority for a while. I cannot wait to keep working on this project!

If you are reading this, what are your thoughts so far?
(Please be kind<3 I do take criticism, but some people need to be reminded now and then to be kind.)

          Happy reading! :)

I know I only launched this project online this week, but I am incredibly excited. It's like being thrown off a dock into a lake! (Screaming, crying, and scary.)

But you can't call yourself a writer unless you write. I hope that once this novella starts gaining readers, I'll be able to receive feedback and critique.
