Hello all!
          
          Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I believe I need a break from all of the weekly Chapter updates. Motivation has been lower than usual and I've been experiencing an unusual burnout.

The next arc of the second book begins!
          
          After the lengthy war against the Kingdom of Mantel, Travis and company take the time to adjust into their roles!
          
          But what's this about an assassin and a plot by the Emperor to kill the newly crowned King Travis?

I am guilty and I apologize.
          
          I did not post on the past Friday and yes it was because the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom dropped. The news of this game has had me so excited and the series has always held a solid place in my life. I needed to play it Day 1!
          
          Now that that is off my chest! Beating (Book 2: Curse Invokers) will be updated with the last chapter of the current arc, BUT it is not the end of this book.
          
          Again, I am sorry. Chapter 53 will be added this coming Tuesday on 05/16/23.

          I am currently in the process of editing the completed story of Beating (Book 1: Acts of the Hearth). There may be some slight changes to the story and altering of things such as the Pures now being called under a new name as the All-kin.
          
          Thank you for your patience. I hope you all enjoy the story and it's changes.

Wow, can't believe I forgot to make this announcement on my page. Beating (Book 1) has concluded. 
          
          A total of 32 Chapters! What a journey!
          
          This does not mean the series is completely over. I will be spending time editing the contents of Book 2 over the end of this year.
          
          I know this can never be said enough, but thank you everyone for stopping by to read this series of mine. It can always be improved upon, so I ask for you all's critique so that this can become a greater story.
