Hey I know I'm not on here too often anymore but I just want to say that I hope you all are safe and your family is well. I wrote a little something if you had the time to read it.
The tippity tap of rain drops upon the roof sounds like the pitter patter of tiny feet prancing along in the moon lit night. The entities of the storm, though relentless and unforgiving seek only to dance in the rain and make the most of the constellations staring back at them as if they are all watching the show. Now is a time when there is a calm that settles in each household and warm blankets are collected by the dozen. Each secludes themselves and finds their own meaning of tranquility. Staring through the blinds with glazed eyes into the hazy dark, it is easy to feel lost and overwhelmed. It is easy to close the curtains and alow the choir of tin roofs to lull you to sleep. However I have always been one to look to the stars for guidance home and I have often found that once the raging storm subsides it as if the stars have fallen from the sky. In pools of reflective solutions our own personal shooting stars can be seen, compasses of hope. I'm afraid of the hail that might come but I am ready for the time when the sky instead pours stardust upon our heads and we no longer have to search in the dark. To everyone I hope you find your way once the clouds clear, because you are all stars.
:)
