Sorry for the long wait. I haven’t finished Season 1 Part 2 yet due to the complexity of its storytelling and the amount of creativity it demands. Aside from that, I’ll be taking a short break for a while because school has been affecting me heavily. That isn’t the only reason, but lately I’ve been carrying a lot of emotional weight in real life, and it’s honestly been draining me more than I expected. I just need some time to breathe, recover, and clear my mind before continuing.

I'm really not the type of person who promises things, as I have trouble remembering important things, even though I take advantage of releasing the chapters whenever I want.

With progress to show, Season 1 Part 2 will cover the rest of the Fire and Frost Demons Arc and another Arc yet to be released, hopefully, and it's going to be one of my favorite arcs I have written in SA. Fire and Frost Demons Arc is just a side trip. This is just the tip of the iceberg; there's more to come, and more to this that meets the eye.

Season 1 Part 2 is halfway finished. I just needed to take a break from the work I put in.

          	Peace, Hunters.

Hi Hunters,

Sorry for the overwhelming amount of updates; no chapter will be released this week intentionally. We'll get to that later.

Writing chapters has become more difficult for me because I’m beginning to understand storytelling on a much deeper level. I’ve realized that I can sometimes be careless and fail to properly double-check mistakes, but that is a habit I want to improve moving forward. I want my chapters to feel more intricate, grounded, and compelling so the story can leave a stronger and more meaningful impact on readers.

I already have many future chapters planned and titled, and they are expected to be far more complex than the ones I have written so far. To put it simply, SA’s writing style gradually evolves to match the tone and themes of the later arcs, focusing more on philosophy, slow-burn development, layered conflicts, and intricate storytelling. Although grammar is not my strongest area, especially as someone who is Korean, I place greater focus on the meaning, emotion, and overall message behind the writing rather than only concise technical details.

To answer your concern, there will not be a new chapter until next week, or possibly even later. This gives me enough breathing room and time to properly work on future chapters without feeling overly pressured or rushed.

SA has not even reached its main conflict or climax yet, despite already having 19 chapters. Because of this, Season 1 of SA will be divided into three parts, each featuring its own distinct writing style and atmosphere. Between these parts, there may be longer gaps in releases so I can prepare multiple chapters in advance each week. Afterward, the story will eventually return to its normal weekly schedule.

Thank you for your time and patience. I apologize for the unnecessary delays in the past, but I believe this delay is more reasonable and necessary for the overall quality of the story.

          Peace, Hunters.

Hi Hunters,

Unfortunately no chapter today. Hopefully tomorrow or the day after due to the amount of personal pressure I had throughout the weekend. I have finished 75% of it so far, since I started writing it around Friday, that’s when I recovered from my sickness. To maintain quality, polishing is needed. A chapter takes around 5 days to finish, depending on my schedule, which could be strict at a certain point, somehow it just hit this week. Thanks for being patient again, and I’ll satisfy you as soon as possible.

          Peace,

Lately, the backlash I’ve been receiving, both in real life and online, has been difficult to ignore. What started as small comments has turned into something heavier, especially surrounding the Sovereign Ascension icon being labeled as “AI.” It’s been frustrating, and honestly discouraging at times, but I understand where some of the concerns are coming from. Because of that, I’ve decided the icon will be changed.

Creating a new one will take time, but I will make sure it’s completed as soon as possible.

This is something I’ve been considering for a while. I initially prioritized releasing chapters quickly, but I want the artwork to properly reflect the effort I put into the story. Because of that, I’ll be taking about a week to focus on creating a new icon with full effort. There will be no chapter release until the 25th.

I’m still deciding whether to continue with the current icon or fully commit this time to making the first original one myself. Balancing this with school has been difficult, and it’s been taking up most of my time. Still, I’m determined to improve.

By June, during summer break, I plan to increase consistency and aim for near-daily releases so you won’t have to wait an entire week between chapters. I’m also looking forward to eventually bringing Sovereign Ascension into a webtoon format.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

          Peace, hunters.
