Hey readers/writers, just looking for some advice/opinions. I started a story last April and have just started looking at it again, but I'm worried it could breech wattpad's terms as it contains content and themes that are *not allowed*. I thought about diluting it, re-writing it in a way that subtly suggests what happens in the story but doesn't actually spell it out, but I really like what I've written and really don't want to present the story in a lukewarm way. Does anyone have any suggestions, thoughts or advice on this? Would it make sense to publish a 'safe' version but then supply a link to an external source for the original to anyone who wants it? It sucks because I wasn't aware of this particular rule until a few months ago. Would love to chat. Reply here or DM if you like :)

Do you remember 'Fresh Bruises'; my smutty collection of one-shots from 2020? Well, I'm about to start adding new stories to it. Brace yourself for blushing, wide-eyed moments and scenes that may require you to fan yourself.

Hi, I'm having a short spurt of bravery right now and would like to ask if you'd maybe be interested in reading my Oli fanfic? I totally understand if you don't have time or just don't want to, though :) It's just that to me you're an "expert" in Oli fanfics and I've been gathering the courage to ask for a long time :)

Thank you so much! If you could, I'd like you to read Just a Crush: Dear Diary, and if you enjoy it, it has a sequel Just a Crush: Dear Gemma :) thanks again <3

@NoemChopsky Omg, I'm sad that you've been afraid to ask me this! I would never shut down a fellow writer, so when I have some time, I will take a look. What is the name of the one you would like me to read? Rebond?

@NightClaw01 Aww, thank you very much. It's interesting to hear that you prefer mid-week reading! I think I will change the days I update a little :) The info I read was all wattpad related but doesn't seem to be working for me, so you're right, maybe I just do whatever I want! Just sucks when you don't get much engagement. Thank you again for the kind words

QUESTION: Do you like the times/days and speed I have been releasing 'Together In The Silence'? I followed what research says is the "best days and time" to publish new chapters, but I've noticed very low engagement and readers :( I would love to hear your thoughts! Would you prefer daily updates like I used to do?

@Joy_Syko It's not a bad idea to write about another singer or band after you finish this book. That way you can refresh your writing skills by trying something new. As for why I haven't read much, it's because I was completely captivated by the game "Umamusume."

@Joy_Syko you could release all the book the same day and I would still devour it and enjoy it lol. But in my opinion, I'd rather have at least 1 update in the middle of the week. I read while being at my job and not so much on the weekends, so it would be nice to have updates from you during the week! Anyways my advice would be: write and update how and when you are comfortable with, and don't pay so much attention to what the algorithm says. Also, algorithms for different platforms and social media change all the time, and what is working right now (giving you engagement, views, etc) might not work next week. Love your work xx!

@LadyNiceHat Thank you for replying! I was thinking of increasing to 3 x a week. The research suggested Friday and Sunday evenings, so that's what I went with, but I was thinking about adding in Wednesday evening too. I also started publishing evenings in Europe but I used to do mornings in Europe. I don't know if that's making any difference... maybe people just aren't as interested in Oli fan fics anymore haha. I personally have lost interest and feel more excited writing about other people/bands! I guess there are a lot of factors.
