Hey, itās been awhile. When I found out you were discontinuing āI Am The Dark Ladyā, I couldnāt believe it. I could barely cope with it. I have been a part of this story for such a long time. I loved reading your writing from āI Am The Dark Ladyā to āAIHGRā, and even āWe Are the Dark Childrenā. Your stories pulled me through some really tough times in my life. So I wonāt say I wasnāt upset when I found out. But you know what? I completely respect your decision. Itās not hard to pull away from something youāve dedicated so much time and effort into. But itās incredibly strong that you did. And I respect that. Iām happy for you. Iām happy that you found that strength to not tolerate the hate that J.K. Rowling and others who could have prevented it, who have used their platforms to spread. Itās okay. You donāt have to apologize. You never had to apologize. No matter how upset someone may be about this, they need to remember that youāre human too. And itās not your job to tolerate human hate. So, I guess for now, from reader to author, I bid you farewell and good luck in your continued writing future. But from a friend to a friend, I say cheers, to a new beginning and a bright future ahead. :)
Much love, Punicorn849
P.S. Personally, I feel you ended āI Am The Dark Ladyā at just the right point to transition readers into āAIHGR.ā Even if it wasnāt intentional.
