Putting it here because it’s nerve wracking to put it in the actual books

I am no longer writing for harry potter.

I fell out of love for it years ago but continued writing out of respect for my readers but my heart is just not in it anymore.

The transphobic comments made by her are too strong to dismiss and horrible/ heartbreaking to learn about.

What made this decision was the release of the new HP game where you go around and kill a species of goblin, which has been likened to a stereotypical Jewish person.

The Transphobia, Antisemitism and Blatant Racism (Cho Chang…cmon.) have made it too hard to enjoy and love the fandom the way i used to when i first started writing.

I am very sorry to all my readers and hope you understand my perspective that as a white cis woman who was raised in a christian household that the least I can do is no longer support the series and speak out in support of those continuing to be harmed.

I do apologise to my loyal readers.

In the mean time, I am still a writer and I do still enjoy writing even as I am going through Uni atm. So there may be other fandoms cropping up here and there but i don’t mind or blame you lot if you wanna click the unfollow button ❤️

Thank you all for reading and appreciating my stories.

If you wish to share comments, go into my random book and leave them there please, I posted the same statement in there

Hey, it’s been awhile. When I found out you were discontinuing “I Am The Dark Lady”, I couldn’t believe it. I could barely cope with it. I have been a part of this story for such a long time. I loved reading your writing from “I Am The Dark Lady” to “AIHGR”, and even “We Are the Dark Children”. Your stories pulled me through some really tough times in my life. So I won’t say I wasn’t upset when I found out. But you know what? I completely respect your decision. It’s not hard to pull away from something you’ve dedicated so much time and effort into. But it’s incredibly strong that you did. And I respect that. I’m happy for you. I’m happy that you found that strength to not tolerate the hate that J.K. Rowling and others who could have prevented it, who have used their platforms to spread. It’s okay. You don’t have to apologize. You never had to apologize. No matter how upset someone may be about this, they need to remember that you’re human too. And it’s not your job to tolerate human hate. So, I guess for now, from reader to author, I bid you farewell and good luck in your continued writing future. But from a friend to a friend, I say cheers, to a new beginning and a bright future ahead. :)

          Much love, Punicorn849

P.S. Personally, I feel you ended “I Am The Dark Lady” at just the right point to transition readers into “AIHGR.” Even if it wasn’t intentional.

If you’re gonna steal someone’s work, make sure it’s not obvious. This is the second time i’ve had to deal with THE SAME PERSON blatantly copying my work.

The Storyline is slightly different, credit to them, but they have stolen bits and pieces from my various books to put in theirs and it’s not something you read and go ‘oh that’s similair’ no it’s VERBATIM like they have copied and pasted things out of MY chapters. The only thing i don’t care about enough is the fact they stole Hermione’s Name too. that’s okay, BUT THEY STOLE THE REASON!

If you come across this book, and it becomes fairly obvious which one i’m referencing once you begin reading, just know that i am aware and unfortunately Wattpad doesn’t accommodate stolen work so i can’t fo anything about it except announce it to my followers. I’m tempted to @ the person but i’m not that mean, they are probably young and don’t understand how hurtful it is.

This is why i didn’t wanna come back.

@Jubbly-x-Bubbly no need to apologise! I was actually going to send you a DM in case you weren’t aware of it but I couldn’t remember the users name and I hadn’t added it to my library. I understand why you aren’t responding but I guess it’s good they do wish to change it. I hope this doesn’t happen to you again because you really don’t deserve it. If I come across any other books which have plagiarised your work I’ll be sure to reach out and let you know. Just know your writing is truly amazing and is always a joy to read❤️

@SilverLyrebird i don’t want them to remove it. they have elements that they have thought of and written for themselves. i’m just mad at the blatant copying of certain things. they have also asked me to help them change it but i’m not responding because that shouldn’t be my responsibility nor my business especially since it’s the same person for a second time. i don’t even want to do it. i just wanted to bring attention to the fact i was aware of it and i will be aware of it if it happens again because i have such lovely people reaching out. and i know, Wattpad is annoying in that sense. If you do see anything similar again though, all i ask is you shoot me a DM telling me and i’ll check it out for myself and don’t ignore it by just stopping reading❤️. (that sounds patronising i’m so sorry)

@Jubbly-x-Bubbly I’m sure I came across a this book a month back or so. When reading I recognised passages similar and exactly the same to parts of your work and stopped reading before I reached the end of the first chapter. It’s awful that people feel they can plagiarise with no consequences to their actions, especially since Wattpad does little to help and monitor this problem. It’s honestly so horrible this person has done this. It’s awful after all the time you have put in to coming up with and writing your stories that they feel they can steal and pass it off as their own. Just know that the majority of the community are really supportive and kind people, and that we all support you and your amazing work! I hope you are doing okay and that this person realises their mistakes and removes the book. ❤️
