Hey, it’s been awhile. When I found out you were discontinuing “I Am The Dark Lady”, I couldn’t believe it. I could barely cope with it. I have been a part of this story for such a long time. I loved reading your writing from “I Am The Dark Lady” to “AIHGR”, and even “We Are the Dark Children”. Your stories pulled me through some really tough times in my life. So I won’t say I wasn’t upset when I found out. But you know what? I completely respect your decision. It’s not hard to pull away from something you’ve dedicated so much time and effort into. But it’s incredibly strong that you did. And I respect that. I’m happy for you. I’m happy that you found that strength to not tolerate the hate that J.K. Rowling and others who could have prevented it, who have used their platforms to spread. It’s okay. You don’t have to apologize. You never had to apologize. No matter how upset someone may be about this, they need to remember that you’re human too. And it’s not your job to tolerate human hate. So, I guess for now, from reader to author, I bid you farewell and good luck in your continued writing future. But from a friend to a friend, I say cheers, to a new beginning and a bright future ahead. :)
Much love, Punicorn849
P.S. Personally, I feel you ended “I Am The Dark Lady” at just the right point to transition readers into “AIHGR.” Even if it wasn’t intentional.
