So for all those who want to hear something funny, feel free to laugh at my pain. Yesterday the Halloween update for overwatch went live. I was so excited so I wanted to get home asap. However neither of my parents were off of work so I had to stay at my Grandma's until they finished and then take 30 min. To get home. While I was waiting I decided to purchase a few loot boxes via my iPad in anticipation and hope to get one of the new skins and/or Halloween stuff. I did this because I saw many streams of people opening loot boxes and stuff. However unlike all of them I play on ps4. My parents took forever to get off so I didn't arrive at home till about 8:00 pm and I usually go to bed at 10:00 pm because I wake up at 4:00 am everyday. So I was already upset because I would have little to no playtime. Then when I finally started it up, the game obviously had to download the update. The update was going to take 90 min. because my mother never payed the wifi bill. Anyways it paused in the middle and so I stopped it then re started it and it started redownoading all the way from the beginning. After it finally downloaded, I started the game. In the bottom left hand corner there was a message from Blizzard(company that made the game). "The Halloween update is now live ~~~blablabla~~~ However, while Halloween lootboxes may be earned through gameplay, they are not yet available for purchase." ... There goes 20 bucks. Needless to say, I was and still am pissed. I got 24 REGULAR lootboxes and didn't even get anything good except for 1 Widowmaker skin. (Odette) everything else was just 3 grey and maybe 1 blue item(s)
