Humm, what to write about me?  Well, to begin with, I am a transplanted Southerner.  Frankly, though I had no idea what I was missing. I came up here in 1997 or so, moved back and forth a few times, then settled in Salem in 1994.  It was a good move for me because Salem felt like home.  With the occasional blip, I have been up North ever since.



I love to travel!  I have been across the lower 48 of the USA and I've been to England seven times.  Now THAT really feels like home!  But health problems are holding me back.  I should mention that on March 9th at 2:44 pm, I will be the big 6-0.  So I guess a few health problems are inevitable.  Most of the problems I brought on myself because during my wicked youth I liked to party.



Just reefer and gallons of alcohol but that was enough!  And food.  I've always loved to eat!  Can anyone relate?  So yes, I am a bit on the fat side.   Well, I am working on it.  I stopped all the partying when I got pregnant and I have a wonderful son because of it.  



Enough about the physical me.  Why do I write?  The answer is both simple and complex.  Usually, I write for fun, but I also like my reader's to be entertained and sometimes that proves difficult.  Then the writing becomes a chore.  I hate that!  I remember really writing stories in middle school.  Of course, it was all fan fiction, gleaned from favorite actors or musical groups.  I sill do that on occasion.



Well, now that I've prattled on long enough I know you're bored.  So, I will say goodnight and feel free to ask questions.  I shall begin a book shortly!  I hope I can amuse in some small way.
