Happy New Year!!
          	
          	This year will be different... why? Well because it had to be lol I went through so much turmoil last year. Having to come to terms with new things about my parent's health and even my own. Last year was hard and I've tried multiple times to get inspiration to finish at least one book,  but the strwasle was real. 
          	
          	I wanna say this year I will finish something, but the way I know that to be a lie, and the fact that I've been lying to myself for so long I want to finally stop and just give myself mmyselfk on myself and maybe something will finally flow. 
          	
          	I wanna wish all of you the best in this new year and while I'm working on myself I want you all to remember that you are trying and that is all that you can ask from yourself. We're not perfect, but as long as we are trying, that is the best thing you can give yourself this year!!!

OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS!!!!! I haven't been on in a while for the purpose of my phone logging me out and me not noticing lol. I see that you guys have gotten not one but TWO of my crack ass stories past 100K...and in the middle of black history month... yall are making history for me!!!. I FREAKING LOVE YALL!!! This was the best thing to see all day today!!! I'm going to try and get the next few chapters out for you guys okay! Don't hate me too much if I'm late lol like always~

I see all these stories about African Americans and how we always have to come from a hard background; like can we not just be successful anymore I understand that and how you want to tell your story and I know im getting to deep here but can we just try and change the way society looks at us. It's bad already that we're getting shot and stuff, but really why do the men gotta be drug dealers and big bad guys and the girls just gotta have a hard past like I understand you want to get your story out there but that just bugs me like can we just not run businesses anymore can we just not be successful. Like I know I just called out many people on wattpad but it's just my opinion it's bad enough that we are looked down on, and we can try to change that one step at a time. The first step could be with our stories maybe this will help maybe not but it will give other African Americans a whole different look to other people who read your stories and just maybe just maybe someone will be happy to see that we are trying to change what society had built.

@SuagarCakes  Thank you, Like both of my ancestor past is hard but I take more pride in my African american back ground then my native. I'm happy to be both but I'm labeled as 'Black' to society and I have to show them that I'm not stupid, incompetent, or ignorant like I wanna change that and you are the first step so I thank you for actually reading my post and not just scrolling over it.

@FutureMrsKuechly I so agree, some things are degrading and just show a negative light on today's black culture. After all our ancestors fought for we should show a different way of thinking for our race. So I am definitely changing my perspective on different books and will change my writing as well.
