The whole series is based around real wold issues in a fantasy world. My girls see things in the news or in school and they become part of our book. Sadly there are many many bad things that can happen. good luck with your writing if you need help or advice, PM me. Mama's message board is always open and I love mentoring young writers.

@stelliferous- I feel like I'm getting there slowly. The hard part I need to work on is description. I like little description but right now I do not have enough.

@JuliaWelker I'd certainly check out your books if I have time. My writing style is influenced by a lot of books I read that it's sort of become my own now. :)

@stelliferous- Yes! I am loving finding so many stories to read here. Maybe if you have time, you could tell me what you think of my story. My style is kind of following Rainbow Rowell's style because that is what I have been obsessively reading, but I hope my own style is coming out. What about you? Who's style do you think you follow or love the most?
