Hello there, 
          
          With the ONC looming, I wasn't sure I'd be up to the challenge with everything that's happened over the last few months. However, after reading a prompt for the @CoffeeCommunity Contests, I surprised myself by writing a short story. 
          
          I'll be releasing "One Hell of a New Year" tomorrow when I've had the chance to polish it up!

Hey everyone, 
          
          My sincere apologies for the long absence. Unfortunately I've had a rough time since last summer due to personal issues and having to deal with the death of a family member.
          
          I'm ready to get back into reading and writing, especially since my characters won't shut up.
          
          I will continue with giving critique for those who still want reviews, but may take a while.

I've finally finished a string of night shifts and plan to finish critiquing my current read and get the review posted in the next few days! 
          
          Unfortunately, my ONC entry, The Seer's Child didn't make it to the shortlist. Still, I'm over the moon at having made the longlist and getting as far as I did.
          
          Very happy to see so many amazing stories make it through and wish them all the best of luck!

Excuse my quietness over the last few days. I needed a breather after racing to meet the ONC deadline! But I did it! With 10 minutes to spare! 
          
          All chapters of The Seer's Child have been released although I need to add authors notes to the last 2 chapters and type up the historical notes I promised.

New update! Chapter 5 has been released!  We visit the Kingdom of Northumbria and meet the lord of Elnwich. Here's a little excerpt...
          
          "I can't promise you love." Edwin paused by the door. "As desirable as it may be, love isn't a necessity for marriage."
          
          The declaration caught Tualla by surprise and she didn't move when he stepped closer.
          
          "I can promise that you'll be the finest lady in this land. Your gowns will be made of the softest silks and your jewels will rival those of any queen." 
          
          She admired his honesty and felt he deserved the same. "Those have little interest to me."

          My apologies for the lack of updates. I have gotten a tad carried away racing to the end of my first draft which is almost done... yay! Chapters will be released quickly as soon as I make a start with editing. I can't wait to share with you!
