So, I cannot close my account through the app or a mobile browser, so I guess I will just unfollow everyone so the notifications don't keep piling up on my phone. Sorry folks, but I'm outa here.
@-Mr-President- according to the help menu for android phones, the account cannot be closed in the app or on a mobile browser, which I am on right now, having deleted the app. Thanks for letting me know about the six months thing, though. I miss everyone, and hated unfollowing everyone because we all need followers that may actually read our stuff, but I just don't agree with this shadowbanning and deleting people's work without warning that's been going on. Good luck to you and everyone. Hugs, love, prayers, and friendship forever. Maybe I'll find somewhere else to post my writings someday. Knowing me, that's iffy.
@Unmotived I don't believe that Wattpad is being fair to the writers by shadowbanning some and deleting their works without warning or reason. Also, the app took up way too much space on my phone, and clearing the cache every time didn't shrink it enough. I backed all my writings up on my notepad and deleted them from Wattpad myself. My whole notepad takes up 60mb. Wattpad app took up 1.07gb with no writings on it and unfollowing everyone. The notifications were eating my space up, and the updates.
Ok, Wattpad, all my stuff is backed up. Tired of your notifications blowing my phone storage up. Goodbye all.
