I started writing in 2006, many different stories but nothing that I finished. In June of 2014, my life changed drastically. We moved to Honolulu, Hawaii. My husband got a job working for the State of Hawaii. I had lived my whole life in Oregon, so this was a big change. I gave up on my stories and left them behind., but then I was given Ethan Templeton. I started writing this story in February 2015, and I thought it would be only one book, but as I wrote it there was three different stories coming to life in my head. My first draft was done in March of 2016, but the book was not what I envisioned, so I kept at it until it was. That took four more years to make it what I had envisioned, but I had started on the next book also, and the third one is still in my head waiting to be written. The books make you question. What makes a person good? What makes a person evil? The stories are about sacrifice and what you are willing to give up for other people, and sometimes we just need to feel this.
