Maybe someday, in the years following my ascendance into Valhalla, my descendants will discover the runes I have etched during my years in Midgard. Maybe then, they will find them worth adding to the sagas of my generation, rendering the words immortal. Men cannot live forever, but the greatness they leave behind can create a legacy that is never forgotten.
