@Minnymouse2003 Because it brings down the reputation of this entire site for one thing and Wattpad itself could get in HUGE legal trouble if someone had the mind to sue them over this and get shut down. I happen to like this place and would prefer that did not happen.
Secondly, this user could get in serious legal trouble for this as well and I'm willing to guess their postings aren't done with knowledge of the implications. Many people, sadly misunderstand copyright and think just a disclaimer makes it all find and dandy-it does not. It is better this user hears the truth from me rather than the lawyer of the authors they have plagerized or their publishers.
Thirdly, though this is far less prombelatic but still an issue, if I had reported her, they would have received a strike against their account-and I don't think that's very fair, getting a black mark on your record just becaus you weren't aware of a rule. This gives them a chance to correct their mistake without interference from Wattpad and keep their record clean.
