Hmm, what can I say about myself...Well I've always loved to read and when I was little, I wrote stories that were terrible so naive! My stories were terribly unrealistic and immature, but I guess at that age I was entitled to my beliefs of the worlds goodness and the much fantazised 'happy ending'.
I still write to indulge that fantasy and my stories could easily be slotted into the idyllic 'love conquers all' section; I am a total hopeless romantic. I will be trying a few new stories with hopefully not such a sappy storyline as my usual stuff. My biggest problem is that I get bored in the middle of a story since I already know the ending and I never have the motivation to finish writing.
I just read 'The Fault in Our Stars' by John Green and I LOVED it. I think it was perfect for me because there was romance without it being a typical love story. The tragic ending and characters thoughts on life and cancer make the book more real, things arn't just all happy and fine. I especially love the cigarette metaphor! I can't stress enough how brilliant this book is, I would suggest everyone grab a copy and a comfortable chair for the day.
I LOVE hunger games and harry potter (although who doesn't) and to some peoples dismay..twilight. I just can't help myself, I have a soft spot for romance and those books pile it on whilst also having the slightly mysterious edge from the whole vampire/werewolf thing. (although they're not technically werewolves)
I like James Pattinsons work too; I don't stick to a particular genre, I read pretty much anything except biographies. I can't stand the things, I mean, It's just some famous persons life with a bit of exaggerated drama, there's no plot, there's no imaginative, creative story. The is no way to open a biography and get engrossed in it. It just doesn't happen.
Well, I think I have rambled on about books for long enough. If anyone is still reading this well enjoy my stories and, uh, um..Arividerchi :D
