@palettediaries   By the way, did you know that there are cover makers on Wattpad? There are people who can make book covers for you if you don't have the right apps or free time. Browse through Wattpad and see it for yourself! Usually you read their rules and request a cover if you want, and you need to "pay" them, generally giving a follow or putting their cover book into your public reading list. Then they will make book covers for you! The whole process might take a few weeks or even months, though. I've requested a cover from a thread in the community near the end of last year and I still haven't gotten my cover. Sigh.  ; (

          I prefer to not rush with things and usually jot down my story ideas somewhere in a notebook. I like to think before I act, so I give a thorough run-through of what I want to write and see if it works. However, my Haku story is my first on Wattpad, meaning that I was overexcited and just wrote down a chapter in 20 minutes without thinking. I'm regretting that though ...
          
          There aren't really any specific rules here since it's a free community. Here are some things you should consider.
          
          - Always credit the original owner of the story in your book description if you are writing a fan fic.
          
          - If you see a discriminating comment or remark, report it.
          
          - If you see a random person with a rather suspicious username sending a weird message into your feed, saying "congratulations, you've won blah blah blah! Please collect your rewards here: (LINK YOU SHOULD NEVER CLICK)", 99.999% of the time this guy is a hacker. Just ignore the message and DELETE.
          
          There is one more thing, but I'm not sure if you will meet them - RANDOM FOLLOWERS. I remember a period when these random people just randomly started to follow and unfollow me. I've had about 20 followers for a couple of months and then whoosh! 60! It was creepy. I used to be this innocent little being who likes to thank every single follower. But now I never do that after that incident. For more information, please check "Random #2: ..." of my random journal! :D
          
          Anyway again, don't worry too much! Wattpad is a FREE community and you can write anything you want! Oh, and if you want to write a story and if it contains any explicit or inappropriate content, remember to rate it mature! Misleading young children is never good. XD

@palettediaries  Thanks to YOU so much! I am not a very experienced writer myself, but I do suggest you let your imagination run free. Think about various things and especially the storyline. Is it what you want to write? How are you going to express your ideas? Who are the characters? What valuable traits do they own? These are the main points you should consider before writing a story, either a made up one or a fan fic.  ^^
          
          Also, spell-check and proofread all works before you publish. It is important because you don't want your readers coming in and seeing this random gibberish and grammar that you forgot to compile. I strongly recommend you to use another app to write and polish your work. Word, Evernote or even Notepad is good enough. You should write several (3+) chapters before you actually publish it, or you will be forever bothered by writer's block like me. I still don't know when I will finish the next chapter ...
          
          Anyway, about book recommendations. I'm not sure which genre you favour ... if you like Naruto, then please find writer168 and have a look at her amazing fan fiction! I haven't read much Spirited Away stories on Wattpad, but if you want you can just scroll through the most popular ones. I know a few but can't remember the titles for now. 
          
          If you like teenage stories or romance, try The Bad Boy Stole My Bra! I know this sounds a bit weird and cheesy (which the story itself sort of is), it's really good! If you like short horror stories, I recommend you to have a read of My Daughter by LizPer7. I know that it might not be as scary for you, it gave me creeps and I'm a scaredy-cat. XD  I have tonnes of suggestions, but I don't know which to give to you if you don't tell me what you like to read!
