I watched Hocus Pocus with my mom yesterday, and it was pretty fun. Though I did joke that "oh, so a warning about smoking, but nothing about women getting hanged or road killed kitty cat".
Like, I get the whole warning about smoking, so parents can be like "Don't copy this person's actions". But I think kids might be more upset over a possible dead pussycat.
Also the animatronic cat used in the film was later used for "Sabrina The Teenaged Witch"!
