@randomslasher Thank you! That means a lot. Always happy to share my story with others, just didn't know how others would react to it. I'm glad you're enjoying it. Warning to you if you keep reading it though, chapters 4-6 have a decent amount of gore from what I recall. Just thought I'd give a heads up as it's something that worries me as there's little description of gore up until that point. Something that has made me consider putting a warning up on those chapters, but I also might be overthinking it. Perhaps the descriptions aren't that bad. Glad you like the names though. The story is inspired by Europe and European myths (As well as some stuff from my own life. To be honest I use the story to vent some things and get creative). The story mostly takes place in a region inspired by medieval Germany (Or the Holy Roman Empire if you prefer), with Ophelia coming from a French inspired kingdom. So, most names are going to either come from German (or the respective culture I took inspiration from) or French. Burgomaster isn't that well known of, but it's a term that basically refers to a mayor. The head of the town, or master of the borough. Anyways, I shant bore you with such exposition. Again, thank you for reading, I do appreciate that. I will continue to read through yours in a second here. I'm quite enjoying it, liking where the story is going and to be honest, I do want to see what happens. And you're welcome, I didn't know if it might've been seen as rude for me to do so, but I thought as one writer to another I would point some stuff out. Sometimes we miss things when we write. Always happy to help someone with their writing.
