You know (to whomever is reading this), I was always the reader that would finish the story and just wait for the next update. But since I couldn't just wait, I would read other stories at the same time.
There was a point where I just didn't want to read new stories, but finish the ones that I have been reading for like more than a year.
I remember saying, I wish I had something to do. Something that would distract me of wattpad, so then when I come back to wattpad, it'd be filled with updates.
Now that school has started for me, I haven't read at all.
I guess one could say that I learned to be careful of what you wish for...

@HannahBWilson Thanks! I'm happy you were hooked (that sounds better in my mind but oh well) may I ask, did you figure the end in the middle of the story? (I don't want to mention the end here, in case someone else reads this...and well, I don't want to be a spoiler of my own book)

@Justa_Nobody1 hmmm I dont think so. anyway, it started great. if you don't mind, would you read my story 'Strong On The Inside'?

@HannahBWilson Oh, gosh thanks. It's just a short story, after you finish it would you mind telling me your opinion? I want to know if I'm going in the right direction, as an author.

@Justa_Nobody1 it was great! for something so short, you definitely had me hooked. You made it very interesting, and you are definitely going in the right direction with this story

@IshipEVERLARK1 umm thanks.... (I'm not good with compliments... If that was a compliment) but I just said what was on my mind.
I like to think that everyone is a great human being, just that they get misunderstood. So I give everyone a chance (and second and a third... And well you get the gist)
I like the story too! -but I was/am really worried for the author you know? I hope she reads it and if anything happens... I'll be here ^-^
(Same for you fellow human! I'm here to help whomever needs it(or if they just want to talk... I'm up for that too))

Is there a way to see who reads your story?
I'm calling out at all authors, how do you manage with this.. suspense?
I have posted my first ever, 2 works. One in which has 4 reads and one with none. No votes no comments, nothing to indicate me how they feel about my short stories.
          And it's such a suspense!
          My mind is all like;
          Was it good?Bad?
What sort of people were interested in reading my story? Did they laugh? Cried? Felt shocked? Surprise? Or was it too monotonous?

I do not know so do not ask me! There's nothing I can base my indicators.

And this is just a couple questions; multiply that times a billion.
I'm starting to get a headache...

          Curiosity kills.

People tell me, "Curiosity killed the cat"
And I tell them, "Well, satisfaction brought him back"

Curiosity is killing me, I need my satisfaction!

Does anyone, authors, have any advice for this, thrilling yet torturous suspense?
