To my old and new readers, I wanted to ask something sincerely. Do you still enjoy reading BTS fanfics? I’ve been noticing many people saying they’ve grown up and now stick mostly to older BTS fics because of the nostalgia and the memories from the peak of the BTS era.
Even for me, the interest has shifted, the older authors had a charm and depth that feels hard to replicate, and it’s been sad watching many of them leave the platform. Although new stories keep appearing, the feeling and excitement that the older works carried don’t quite match the same way for me.
I also genuinely want to know whether readers still prefer BTS fanfics, because I’ve been wondering if I should continue writing stories using their names or focus on purely fictional characters instead.
I’d truly appreciate hearing your thoughts.

@Juvenescent_Life well, I prefer fanfic over any fiction. Idk why, may be it helps to portray the scene in my mind.

@Juvenescent_Life Yes, you're right, some authors here have changed platforms, and there are new authors who are bringing new stories, but there are still some readers who read the new stories, but the reason they came to Wattpad is because of the old readers, whose work, both old and new, we read with equal seriousness, and you are one of them. BTS fan fiction is not just a form of story, but I think for me it's a way to escape from reality, and to be honest, I came to Wattpad precisely because here I get the freedom to think, speak, and read. Here, nobody judges anyone.
