@meroceank8921 I think the author's note is fine where it is. People like to read that sort of thing at the end rather than the beginning. Because y'know, they came for the story first. Chapters that are 2k words is fine, especially splitting up bigger chapters for easier reading.
@K-J-Whitten Oh, that makes sense. Good for Rowan Carver to do that! I’m still a beginner sci-fi writer, though, so it should be okay. Do you think I should put the author’s note at the beginning of the book or just leave it near the back for better convenience? I really did have to split my chapters throughout my book, at least for the chapters that were over 2K words, but that doesn’t mean that the “numerous chapters” are separate from each other. It just means that they are part of a much bigger chapter, so to speak. I just separated the bigger chapters into two parts for easier reading on the part of the mobile users on the go. I hope this explanation helps.

Hello everyone! I have some good news and bad news. The good news is that chapter 17 is now up on Wattpad.
