I missed it on February 14th, but Demolition Lovers is officially a year old. I can’t believe it’s been that long since I wrote the first chapter, or the first half of the story for that matter. I feel like I’ve grown as a person in the past year and changed my writing style. I’ve attempted to start new stories, but Demolition Lovers will always be my proudest creation. Besides Saints, it’s also my most popular story and probably what I’m known for on this site, to the people that even know of my existence. I don’t mean to get all sappy, but it feels so surreal that it’s been a whole year. I can hardly believe it. It feels like it’s been a month at most, when I got the idea to expand on the concept of the Three Cheers album. But it’s been a whole year. Over 365 days. I’m older than I was when I first started writing it. It doesn’t feel right, but I can’t lie to myself and say that it hasn’t been that long. I know probably nobody reads these, but I hope someone reads this and thinks about how fast time flies. One moment, I was thinking of the concept of this story without having written anything. Next moment, I’m writing about how it’s already been a year. I was gonna put priority on my Evil Dead story, but I’ll try to write another Demolition Lovers chapter just because of the occasion. Thank you to everyone who’s read it, everyone who’s left a comment or even a like, everyone who’s added it to a reading list and everyone who’s followed me just because of it. I’m sorry I haven’t updated it a lot. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It’s been crazy to even think about this.
